Boris Fogelman’s way to become a film music composer has been remarkably different compared to other composers. From an early age until his teens he attended music school. Music has always been a self-evident part of Boris’ life, though there were many periods when he was dealing with things that had nothing to do with music.

He achieved a Master of Science in Engineering. After a couple of years he started a successful restaurant and catering company with more than 100 employees. He even worked as an interpreter at the Swedish Foreign Ministry.

Since music’s always been a part of Boris Fogelmans being, he eventually decided to acquire a thorough musical education. He  became a pupil of two highly respected teachers from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. It took years until Boris Fogelman put all his talent and effort to work with music and to become a full feathered composer. His music has since been featured in theatres, in a film about a famous Swedish Circus, and in several short movies which have received prizes and rewards internationally. Boris Fogelman even composed music for a play on London’s West End.

His multicultural background and multifaceted professional life form the basis of his composing. Quality music, regardless of the variety, is most important for Boris Fogelman as a composer. He now devotes himself exclusively to music.

Currently Boris Fogelman is working on new compositions for an album that will be called Chansons pour Film Noir.
